Frontend prototyping demo 26th Jan

What?

Why?

10 reasons:

  1. Because designers should GAF about the context they're working in
  2. Cos screens suck to dev for in 2024 (and what about 2028?)
  3. Cos how do I know what’s possible if i’m not continually learning?
  4. Cos how can I collab with y’all effectively if i’m not on the field?
  5. Cos statics aren’t sufficient – transitions, animations, interactivity
  6. Cos it’ll allow me to sweat the details, and reduce (not remove!) edge-case back & forth
  7. Cos it forces me to think in terms of components, and encapsulation
  8. Cos i’m fast widdit – effort to date has been < one week
  9. Cos it’ll make my design better, and (hopefully) make your lives easier
  10. TL;DR: it’s about effective & collaborative handover – not fire & forget
